Macs and Slingbox in harmony Its official: Slingplayer is now compatible with OS X and more importantly the Slingbox can now stream any content to your Apple TV! If you don’t know what Slingplayer and Slingbox do, working together they allow you to stream content from your PC or Mac to a remote location, and now with Macs that content can be viewed on Apple TV as well.

Pick your poison: Boot Camp or Parallels?You can bet that the people at Apple had quite the field day when the programs that would allow “alternate” operating systems to run simultaneously with OS X on Mac came into the world. For many who are considering the glorious conversion to Mac, or those that simply can’t escape the tape worm that is a Microsoft-dominated world, Boot Camp and Parallels means living a Mac-centric life while still fitting into the rest of society. However, I think they both degrade Mac machines in separate ways, and I’ll explain why.

The iPhone and Leopard delay, what is Apple doing? Seeking Alpha thinks Apple is doing the right thing regarding delaying Leopard and releasing the iPhone in June. This has resulted in the fact that the final version of Leopard will not be ready for Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference in June of this year. They will instead be showing off a “near final” version which will include a preview of all the features to be present in the final version.

The “Hack a Mac” contest held some days ago revealed a flaw in the Safari browser, or that’s what was thought at the time. Network World reports on the flaw which actually exists on Windows as well.
