The law finally catches up to Apple...for an air quality violationEven though Stevesy and Apple were able to dodge those nasty stock option fraud allegations, the law has finally come down on them, and they’ve come down hard. Apple very well might have to go belly up after this situation sorts itself out; the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District has fined Apple $43,200 for an air quality violation earlier this April.

Apparently Apple is guilty of running an emergency generator at its Elk Grove facility outside of a maintenance or emergency period. In all fairness, Apple, just because you are our fave doesn’t mean you can break the law, even if you can cover the bill.

How Apple will ever cover the bill is beyond me; I mean, if the CEO is only making $1 annually, how on earth will they ever come up with $43,200? Well, fellow Apple fans, it was a good run…Apple, you’ll be missed.
