MacBook goes multi-touch with iPhone technology in October
By Triston McIntyre
The best way Apple can achieve its stranglehold on the entirety of the worldwide consumer market is to keep pushing the limits; as the MacBook line has been due for an upgrade for a while now, this latest rumor tidbit sounds deadly feasible…expect to see the multi-touch functionality that is now integrated in the iPhone included in the touchpads of a new line of MacBooks to be released in October.
CrunchGear writer Josh Goldman says he has it on good authority that Apple will assuredly be releasing an updated line of Macbooks come October; they’re slated to be slimmer, as well as equipped with an updated touchpad that will allow users to navigate files and folders similar to the style of the iPhone today.
Though many Mac rumors are like dust in the wind, and don’t come to fruition, including the “pinch” technology that allows iPhone users to zoom in and out of windows really isn’t much of a stretch. Slimmer is also feasible, as Apple could cut a few inches off the height of the unit.
What do you, the readers think? Rumor? So expectable we’re wasting our time with this article? I hope to be pinching my way to the perfect zoom level come October, no matter how you feel about it.
