Apple releases My iTunes widgets
Apple’s media player has now got its own widgets, which will enable iTunes users to embed their recent iTunes purchases, reviews and favorites into their websites, blogs and online profiles.
The new iTunes widgets is called, yeah, you guessed it right, My iTunes. It can be customized to suit one’s taste and style. There are several iTunes skins to choose from at the Apple my iTunes site. The My iTunes feeds supports standard RSS feed readers, thus your friends could easily subscribe to your My iTunes feeds to let them know what you’ve been tinkering with in your iTunes account.
To start “widgetizing” your iTunes account, you’ll need to have iTunes installed in your computer and a free iTunes Store account. If you’ve satisfied both these conditions you will then have to enable My iTunes by signing into your iTunes Store account then click enable My iTunes. Easy so far?
The next thing you need to do is to get the widgets code. With this code you can start personalizing your My iTunes widgets. Once you are satisfied with the style and size of your widgets, just save it into the clipboard, then paste the code into your personal site/blog or social networking profile.
Got it? If not, just head on to the Apple My iTunes site for a more detailed instruction.
