Guitar Hero 3 goes Mac: Geeks rejoice

By Triston McIntyre

Guitar Hero 3 goes Mac: Geeks rejoiceThere’s a very slim chance that those who wanted Guitar Hero have not obtained some sort of next generation system besides their trusty Mac, but if you were one of the few holding out for a port to Mac, your glorious day is at hand: Aspyr Media announced today they are developing a Mac version of Guitar Hero 3 so you, too, can waste countless hours attempting “Free Bird” on expert difficulty.

It is also worth mentioning a PC version is in the works, but why do anything on a PC you can do on a Mac?   However, the PC and Mac versions will be able to compete over the internet with one another; let the endless debates of Mac vs. PC enter the new field of guitar gods and titans.

For our purposes here, I’ll spare you the gory details of how the game works; if you aren’t a gamer, you won’t be particularly interested in this anyway.  There’s a great new lineup of songs, and the game will come packaged with a usb guitar for all the slashing and thrashing your time-wasting friends desire.
