HD coming to iTunes this month

By Triston McIntyre

HD coming to iTunes this monthThere is yet still hope for that lovely little box we know as the AppleTV: word on the street is that iTunes will start distributing HD content sometime this month.

CrunchGear has it that Apple is prepping a huge order of new AppleTV units for distribution. As sales thus far have been less than stellar (lets just say they aren’t selling like iPhones, ok?), only one thing could justify this massive order…iTunes HD.

We’ve been calling for the release of HD content on iTunes for a while now; now that the world is at least trying to step onto the HD technology platform, Apple really needs to be the first group out the door offering high quality HD downloadable content for the internet.

Either way, the rumor is iTunes HD will be rolling out sometime this month; it wouldn’t be surprising if it came near the end of the month..perhaps near the time Leopard surfaces?

Keep those browsers dialed into Mac.Blorge.com for all the updates on everything Apple!
