Apple Appears Ready To Unleash Leopard
By Sean P. Aune
All signs indicate that Apple is prepared to unleash their latest jungle cat, Leopard, upon the world.
According to a source that spoke with Appleinsider, Apple has now finalized Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. They go own to say that they have also begun supplying training materials to staff.
It has been long rumored that October 26th was the targeted release date for Leopard, and if these rumors pan out to be true, than that date looks pretty assured. The last big release to developers was on September 21st, and at that time it looked that the version going out was the release candidate.
At the same time, it appears that the Cupertino, CA based computer maker is also prepping one more update for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. This would bring the two-year old version of their operating system up to 10.4.11.
