Bittorrent lands Apple’s OS X Leopard Gold Master

By Triston McIntyre

Bittorrent lands Apple’s OS X Leopard Gold MasterIf your craving for Leopard just can’t wait a couple weeks until you can purchase a fully-legit copy, you might be interested to find that the final Gold Master of Leopard is now running wild on the bittorrent sidestreets.

Though bittorrenting the new OS is by no means legal, rest assured a large percentage of the pirating public will take full advantage of the download. Apple is renowned for not taking action against illegal downloading of its products; however, that is not to say that stance will not change with the release of Leopard.

There is also no guarantee that Apple didn’t purposefully release a bugged build and call it the Gold build to track pirates; again, Apple is not known for this sort of behavior, but there are no guarantees.

Leopard will not be particularly expensive; I highly recommend avoiding any sort of trouble and simply purchase the OS when it is released, hopefully October 26th.

Funny how the illegal copy is leaked out before legit devs get a seed.
