Apple releases Leopard 10.5.1 with numerous bug fixes

By Sean P. Aune

Apple releases Leopard 10.5.1 with numerous bug fixes Mac OS X Leopard users rejoice!  10.5.1 is here with fixes for what ails ya!

As with any operating system release, there are always going to be some bugs, and Apple has quickly moved to get a “.1″ release out to fix some of them.  The download clocks in at 110MB, but from reports, it’s well worth it.

The biggest, and probably most welcomed, fix comes in the new Time Machine feature.  As we noted last week there have been some formatting issues, but those have been addressed with the update.

There have been fixes elsewhere in the system that should work to make it more stable.  Other fixes can be found in Back to My Mac, disk utilities, Finder, iCal, Mail, networking, printing, security, and more.

No reason to not get on this update as soon as possible.
