Updated: Fry’s: 20″ Apple iMac for $794
Fry’s is having a Pre-Thanksgiving day sale with some major deals lined up. The sale includes everything from flash memory to printers, PCs to iMacs.
The iMac in question is Apple’s very own 20" model, which includes a 2.4GHz Core2Duo, 1GB DDR2, ATI 2600 PRO 256MB DDR3, 320GB HDD, 802.11n (compatible with 802.11g), and Bluetooth 2.0.
All this goodness can be yours for $794, and Apple currently lists this model for $1,499.00 at the Apple Online Store!
Other deals include an Xporter XT 4GB USB flash drive for $23, Epson all-in-one printer for $49, and an AMD Athlon 64X2 HP laptop with 1GB of RAM and the works for $600.
The sale ends come Thanksgiving day, and the ad belongs to the Campbell, CA store, meaning not all locations may have the iMac at $794.
Update: I just called two Fry’s stores regarding this sale and it turns out the Mac listed is supposed to be a Mac Mini at $794 and not an iMac. It sucks, I know. Sadly, you wouldn’t be able to get Fry’s to honor the price listed because the ad’s bottom right corner is home to the following disclaimer: "Not responsible for typographical errors."
