Praise be to the free software gods!  Transmission, the uber-popular torrent client for OS X, has officially “made it,” reaching 1.00 version status.Transmission has long been touted by the Mac torrent community as one of, if not the best, torrent clients due to its system-light requirements, speedy performance and ease of use.  However, for a long while it has been in beta, though it was quite functional and enjoyable. Now it is updated to a fully-functional version with a new look and more functionality.  Best of all, it is still free as ever.
