Hooligan makes off with 40 iPhones in act of tom-foolery

Hooligan makes off with 40 iPhones in act of tom-fooleryEach and every one of us wants an iPhone, even if it is in the recessed and secluded portions of our souls; one deviant in Salem, Oregon apparently had a slightly larger lust, as he or she broke in to an AT&T store, stole 40 iPhones, and fled the scene.

In addition to the 40 iPhones, the thief also grabbed a few other cell phones and random accessories, according to MacNN; had he or she been wise, that person would have done better to grab iPhone related accessories, considering the bulk merchandise being hijacked.

No good AT&T store comes without burglar protection; unfortunately for that retail location, either the alarm wasn’t quite efficient enough or perhaps the local bobbies were too busy sitting under the lit sign of a Krispy Kreme to respond in a timely fashion, because the iPhone heist had been successfully executed by the time the local PD arrived.

In other news, the Grinch was sighted and apprehended just outside of Las Vegas shortly thereafter; when the police impounded his sleigh and dog, they found just over 30 unopened iPhones and miscellaneous other cellular goodies.  After interrogation, investigators learned the Grinch, now quite aged, was under the impression he was still ruining Christmas.
