5 MacWorld secrets we should stop discussingWith MacWorld less than a few days away, the blogosphere is buzzing with all rumors galore about what might be debuting or getting revamped at MacWorld; however, with only a few days left, here are the 5 rumors that really should be put to rest so we can all stop discussing it until Jobs, bless his Steveness, speaks.

  1.  The multi-touch Apple tablet – this could be the most annoying rumor that keeps circulating.  First everyone isn’t sure whether it’ll be coming out, then another “rumor” is spread about how it won’t be released.  I think, instead of wasting all this time discussing whether it will be released or not, we should just wait.
  2. the ultraportable MacBook – questions regarding size, mockups, hardware components and more keep popping up; one this is fairly certain…we’re probably going to see everything we need to in a few days. Let it sit.
  3. updated iPhone – a little less discussed, but still painfully overwrought, is the possibility of a 3G iPhone with additional updates.  Wait, please, just a little longer to waste internet space discussing this.
  4. Office for Mac 2008 – Ok, we already know this is a certain thing, but people can’t stop talking about seeing it at MacWorld.  For Steve’s sake, people! We will see it soon enough.
  5. WiMax – WiMax in the MacBook ultraportable, WiMax in the MacBook Pros, WiMax in your Starbucks coffee – this is probably the most far-fetched rumor of them all.  Dreaming is one thing; this is a bit over-indulgent.

Now obviously, you astute readers will note the irony of me writing down a list of things we should stop discussing; note, I am just asking if, after this article, it could be dropped.  Please?  It’s only a few days, and it isn’t like we’re waiting for the a Nintendo Wii…
