Trademork reported that Apple filed a video game patent to protect their Apple trademark earlier this month. Some have brushed this information aside stating that Apple is just covering their bases, or they think it could be related to iPod games. While, others have been looking at the phrase within the patent “stand alone video gaming machines” with much interest and think there might be more to it.

Steal an iMac get arrested. That’s the message one thief might have received after he stole an iMac from an individuals home. What the thief thought was an easy crime got him into a lot of hot water.

Rumors continue to circulate about the upcoming MacBook Pro update. Excitement grew when MacRumors reported that an order for the MacBook Pro was appearing on a Best Buy inventory screensheet. The sheet shows a shipment of Apple portable computers. The SKUs showed the same price as the current MacBook Pro. It didn’t say what type of computers were inside, but many are hoping that it is the much predicted MacBook Pro.

Will the MacBook Air last for five hours? I was skeptical when I heard this claim made by Apple. I wasn’t the only one. AnandTech has run an extensive test on the MacBook Air. One of tests was testing the battery life. The results may surprise you.

By this point, the MacBook Air has been reviewed, re-reviewed, taken apart, dissected and benchmarked until the persons doing so are sick of it. It turns out that the premium price paid for the SSD (solid state drive) version of the MacBook Air isn’t worth it. Unless you want average performance at a premium price.

A while back, a member of FaceBook’s Parakey team, Joe Hewitt, created a version of FaceBook for the iPhone. The page, found here, is able to be viewed using any browser. Up until now, FaceBook for the iPhone wasn’t a well publicized application.
