Apple recently released an update for Apple TV which is Apple TV 2.0.1. The first change I noticed, after downloading the update was the option to remove podcasts from your favorites that aren’t available.

Apple has filed a series of patents that indicate it may be targeting the fitness market in the near future. We already have the Nike Sport package that enhances your running experience by tying your iPod into your Nike running shoes to customize your workout songs and track your miles while you run. The patents they have filed demonstrate that Apple wants to take the concept even further.

It seems that there is no making some people happy. Around 10 months ago, two professional photograhers from California decided to file a class action lawsuit over MacBook (Pro) displays.

Talk of late has pointed to rumors that Apple might be planning a subscription-type service or charging more for iPods and simply giving iPod owners the ability to download audio content from iTunes for free. Now it appears that Sony BMG may be planning its own subscription service that is compatible with Apple’s iPod.

Good news for Mac user’s Adobe recently announced that Photoshop Elements 6 is now available for the Mac. In January 2008, Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 was introduced at the Mac World Expo.

Apple has recently released an updated for several new cameras. If you are a photographer who’s been wanting to use Aperture 2.0 or iPhoto 7.1.2 with iLife support 8.2 check out the list to see whether you’re camera is now compatible with Apple software programs such as Aperture 2.0 and iPhoto.

Mediocre and overpriced hardware; that’s the apt description of the Mac Mini. It may be a “low cost” Mac but it has stagnated while it’s more capable bigger brothers like the MacBook and MacBook Pro have received better and more regular update cycles. Now, finally, the Mac Mini is getting an incremental boost in processing and graphics power.

The quintessential PC user can’t stand the thought of dropping $2,000+ on a laptop; I know because I was one of them. Apple has refreshed it’s MacBook Pro line and it’s now possible to get excellent deals (for Apple) on its “last generation” models. All of us have our price and apparently for me, it turned out to be $1,500.

If you are not yet familiar with IBM’s Lenovo’s PC laptop cousin to the MacBook Air, allow me to fill you in. Lenovo has produced what it calls the “no comprimise” thin and light laptop complete with all the ports and optical drives you will find on larger PC laptops. Lenovo has seen fit to flame Apple with its ThinkPad X300 laptop.

Will iTunes offer a subscription service? According to Financial Times, it’s possible. How would Apple accomplish this? A subscription would be available to iPhone users. If you don’t want an iPhone, you would have the option of purchasing an iPod that offers a “comes with music” feature. This service would be in addition to what they already offer. I
