Will Apple offer an all you can listen service for iTunes?
Will iTunes offer a subscription service? According to Financial Times, it’s possible. How would Apple accomplish this? A subscription would be available to iPhone users. If you don’t want an iPhone, you would have the option of purchasing an iPod that offers a “comes with music” feature. This service would be in addition to what they already offer. I
t sounds fabulous but what about those of us who don’t want to purchase one of these products to use this service? Hopefully, there will be an option for that also. This is a feature that many, including myself, would use.
What’s the hold up? Financial Times stated.
“Apple would not comment on the plan, but executives familiar with the negotiations said they hinged on a dispute over the price the computer maker would be willing to pay for access to the labels’ libraries.”
Recently iTunes beat out Best Buy to claim the spot as the number two music retailer in the the USA.
Financial Times stated that Apple on this at the moment. If Apple offered, this service for iTunes would you use it?
