Apple releases an Apple TV software update, version 2.0.1

By Opal Tribble

apple.jpegApple recently released an update for Apple TV which is Apple TV 2.0.1. The first change I noticed, after downloading the update was the option to remove podcasts from your favorites that aren’t available.

A few of the issues addressed in this update are…

The Apple TV was first announced at a press conference event on September 2006. Apple TV plays digital content from the iTunes store or content from another computer. Steve Jobs announced a major update to the Apple TV at the MacWorld 2008 event. With this free update you no longer needed another computer running iTunes to stream the content to the Apple TV. You can now do that directly from the Apple TV. I really like the additional features added such as the ability to download podcasts and stream photos from .Mac and Flickr.

I frequent the Apple forums and some of the Apple TV users mentioned that they have faced stability issues hopefully this update will address this issue.

What is this about? you talk about Apple TV then give the fix list of Aperture, come back to Apple TV and finish off by giving a link to an Apple Aperture Support Page.

Wrote this a bit too fast this morning?
