If you are an iTunes Season Pass user, you know how the strike affected you – you didn’t get your subscription filled while the shows were off the air. Since users of Season Pass pay for it upfront, Apple decided to show them some love. This is a good PR move on Apple’s part.

It turns out that those of us that have paid the iPod “premium” may be allowed free downloads from the iTunes store. Apparently, Apple is in discussions with major record labels that would allow iPod owners unfettered, free downloads from the iTunes store. Those not owning iPods, nothing will change for you.

The popularity of the MacBook Air has surprised me; that doesn’t mean I’ve changed my mind about it but Apple users feel differently. The MacBook Air is so popular that it has pushed Apple’s share of the computer market to 14% with 20% of its laptop sales accounted for by the MacBook Air.

There had been speculation whether Apple would update their Airport Express it seemed logical since we have recently seen updates to the Airport Express, Macs, and Time Capsule. Recently, Apple unveiled the updated Airport Express 802.11n.

Those Apple iPods are too volatile to take into space in their default configuration so it has to be modified to be declared space-worthy. The Lithium-Ion battery packs are replaced with something that is less likely to start a fire/explosion.

If you need a new reason to buy an iPod, how about this; the iPod appears to be preferred by US astronauts. An image from the latest shuttle image clearly shows an iPod resting just off center in the cockpit.

There are already plenty of iPod docks, home theater adapters and accessories to make one go insane when trying to decide which is right. Creative will now be releasing an iPod dock with its proprietary X-Fi audio technology and offers a few different features to boot.

Apple is missing a desktop from its line-up; something to sit between the Mac Mini and Mac Pro. An Apple fan has taken it upon himself to mod the Mac Mini into a “Mac Pro Mini.” If anyone from the company is reading, consider making this but with a few alterations.
