Mac Games: Hoyle Puzzle & Board Games 2008 now available for digital download

If you love puzzle & board games, and are a Mac user, you might want to check out Hoyle Puzzle & Board Games. With over 60 plus games, Hoyle Puzzle & Board Games 2008 will keep you entertained for a while. Hoyle Puzzle & Board games is now available for digital download previously it was only available in the boxed version.
You will find over twenty-one classic games along with exciting new additions. Crossword puzzles are some of my favorites. I was happy to see that they have a large selection of crossword puzzles to choose from, well over 1200, and they also have one of my childhood favorites, Hangman. Other favorites like Mahjongg, Anagrams PLUS, and Soduku.
Customizing your gaming experience is an option thanks to HOYLE Bucks. It’s simple the more you play the more bucks you win. The bucks go towards the purchase of new backgrounds of your choosing, music tracks, and lots of other goodies. You also have the option to create your own unique face with their Face Creator. It didn’t interest me too much, but my daughter had a blast creating her own unique person.
You can play with 12 virtual components, solo games, or play on the same computer with your family and friends. My daughter and I have had fun playing classic board games like checkers and chess on the computer.
What are the system requirements?
- Macintosh OS X 10.4.10 or later
- G3, G4, G5 or Intel Core Duo processor
- 600 MHz or higher
- 256 MB RAM
- DVD-ROM drive
- 32MB VRAM (ATI Rage cards not supported)
- 1 GB hard drive space
The digital download file is 611.9 MB and it cost $19.95 to buy. I downloaded Hoyle Puzzle & Board Games 2008 on my 17″ MacBook Pro. You also have the option to play before making the purchase.
