According to statistics, many living in westernized cultures make poor food choices. The nutritional choices a person makes rarely gets them sick as they are consuming the food. It’s a long term thing. Many people consume more calories than what is recommended for the daily intake having a program that can monitor your intake is an effective way to know how many calories are in the foods you are consuming.

Studies have shown that those who keep track of their food intake are more likely to meet their weight loss goals. Calories 1.0 gives you the option to set daily goals, manage meals, add food to the database, select favorites for frequently used meals, as well as providing many more features. If you are looking for support from others you can join the Calories Google Group and discuss your goals and receive support from others.
