Win Snoop Dogg swag and Apple products; MacBook Air & iPod

No stranger to publicity it looks like Snoop Dogg, formerly known as Snoop Doggy Dog, is back in the spotlight. This time he’s bearing gifts; it’s true Snoop is having a contest going on at his website.
If you have the skills, log onto Snoop’s website and enter the Snoop Dogg Wallpaper Design Contest.
There are three rounds total. Round one Sensual Seduction focuses on retro, 80’s and glam style. The winner receives an 80 GB iPod classic. Round two, Life of Da Party, is all about good times think celebration, Las vegas, gambling, and champagne. The winner receives an 16 GB iPod Touch, The third and final round, Round three is called My Medicine, celebrating country with an Urban Twist the winner receives a 32 GB iPod Touch. The grand prize winner will receive a MacBook Air.
The themes are actually rap songs from Snoop’s new album Ego Trippin’ (a clever brilliant way to marketing his cd by the way.) The top three entrants in each round will be featured on Snoopdogg.com & receive more than $500 in prizes. You can enter as many rounds as you like and submit as many designs as you like, not bad at all. It’s simple create the wallpaper design and upload it. Signing up for the competition is free just log onto Snoopdogg.com and enter today.
Snoop Dogg was born Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. his mother nicknamed him Snoopy because of they way he dressed and his love for the Peanuts cartoon. In 1998 he changed his name to Snoop Dogg. Snoop hit the rap scene in the early 90’s, first appearing on Dr. Dre’s solo album, The Chronic (CD that is part of my collection) with other members of his starting group, The Dogg Pound.
Snoop debuted with his own record Doggystyle in 1993 a bunch of rappers who were signed or affiliated with Death Row Records made an appearance on Doggystyle some rappers that made an appearance was Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, and Nate Dogg. I have most of the rap songs from this CD on my iPod Nano.
Log onto Snoop’s website to find the deadline for each round, enter the Snoop Dogg Wallpaper Design Contest and you might get the chance to win an iPod or MacBook Air.
