Telling Apple retailers to “stock up” on Macs and iPods, Apple is warning of a coming shortage that could affect availability. Recently, when I logged onto my MacBook Pro I was greeted with a familiar pop up screen letting me know that Airport Extreme had received a software update. Logging onto the Airport Extreme software update page you’ll see one of Apple’s brief messages. Apple says this update should improve the reliability of Airport connections, along with adding compatibility with Logic, Mainstage, GarageBand, and other audio applications.
