Recently, NeoOffice was updated to NeoOffice 2.2.4. I updated my version earlier today. What was addressed in this update? According to the release notes boast that there has been a significant improvement to the slide shows (up to 33%). I checked it out for myself did notice a noticeable improvement in speed. Some users were having issues where a file or other menus were being displayed wen upon launching NeoOffice with the “nodefault” option. This bug has been fixed. Also fixed was a crash that could happen at startup if the home folder was on a remote volume.

The Mac OS X 10.5.5 update out to developers right now is on build 9F13, and the list of fixes for issues just keeps growing. Currently, the list of bug fixes has entered the triple digits, an unusually high number of fixes not seen since, well, the last big update to Leopard.

At times it seems that the MacBook Air has been around a lot longer than it has. It was only this past January that Steve Jobs, CEO for Apple, Inc, unveiled the MacBook Air at the MacWorld Expo 2008. Since that time it’s receive a lot of attention. Retailers had a hard time keeping the MacBook Air in stock and it received it’s fair amount of praise and criticism.

One of the downsides of relying heavily on your email is the email spam that may occasionally flood your inbox. You might find that some of these spam mails are originating from phishers (lucky you!) who are attempting to gain access to your personal information.

I’ve been using Ecto as my blog writer for some time. It is a great desktop blog writing client for the Mac that works flawlessly with most platforms, including WordPress and Drupal. When I saw there was an update in beta I got excited.
