Apple has received a lot of attention over the past few years: Awards, new computers like the MacBook Air, the much hyped about iPhone 3G, the new App store, which has hundreds of amazing applications for your iPhone and the iPod touch. We cannot forget about MobileMe and the poor reviews it received at launch, although I’m sure Apple would like to move on past that.
If you’ve been keeping close tabs on Apple the past few months you would have heard the rumors surrounding around about .Mac evidence was pointing to major change in the service. Not only was the url being changed to Me.com it was receiving a brand-new name, MobileMe. The new service had a lot of new features that would add appeal to the average user. Many of the features that users come to depend on in the office was finally making its way into the average users.
According to second quarter sales, Apple is gaining a steady lead in the Western European education market. Currently Apple has 19.2 percent of the market share for CPUs and servers. Apple is still maintaining its lead for notebook sales in the UK. It overtook Dell to climb into the top spot. Similarly here in the USA, Apple beat out Dell to become the number one seller of laptop computers in the USA.
If you have moved computers, added an iPod, used a USB flash drive, had music stored on an external drive or used another solution to handle your growing or portable music collection, you have had duplicate songs in iTunes. You also know that once you get enough music on your computer, getting rid of these duplicates becomes quite the chore.
