U.S. Political conventions 2008 featured on iTunes; John McCain, Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, Joe Biden
If you haven’t had your fill of the massive overload of information swirling around the upcoming presidential election, you can log onto iTunes for a recap of the events. The conventions are the hot topic of many on talk radio, television channels, as well as political bloggers.
The Republican national convention is currently underway. It kicked off on September 1st and ends today Thursday, September 4th. Presidential nominee, John McCain spoke along with his vice-presidential nominee, Sarah Palin. Also on the list of speakers was Senator Joe Lieberman (former Democrat now Independent) and many more who rallied around the Republican hopefuls.
The Democratic national convention was held last week starting on August 25th and ending on August 28th, 2008. Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, vice presidential candidate, Joe Biden spoke along with former vice-president Al Gore, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, and many more.
This presidential election is bringing two first; Barack Obama, will be the first black democratic presidential nominee running for office. We’ll also be seeing a first with the Republicans. Sarah Palin has made history by being the first Republican woman that is running for vice-president. This will definitely be an interesting season leading up to the election.
By logging onto iTunes you can find speeches from Republican presidential nominee John McCain his running mate vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. Democractic presidential nominee Barack Obama and his vice presidential hopeful, Joe Biden. Not only will you find coverage on the Democratic and Republican conventions you’ll find an excellent list of podcasts created by political bloggers. It’s an excellent way to get more information (both positive and negative) on all the candidates at times you won’t find both on certain media channels.
I logged on iTunes this morning and downloaded speeches to my MacBook Pro. I was able to listen to speeches both the Democratic and Republican conventions. They both featured speakers that I wanted to hear. iTunes gives users the chance to watch or listen to the political convention at a time that is convenient for their schedule and it’s free.
Staying on top of the Democratic and Republican political conventions has never been easier for iTunes users. Accessing the election speeches is easy as logging onto iTunes and searching for “political convention 2008″.

Ummm Joe Biden is a Democrat, he is the VP candidate. Not the Republican Presidential candidate who is of course, John McCain.
