NBC returns to iTunes; Offering free downloads from top TV shows

itunes-logo.JPGNBC has finally returned to its senses and is coming back to iTunes. NBC left iTunes, the number one online music retailer, after a dispute over pricing, packaging, and DRM options. Steve Jobs announced NBC’s return to iTunes at the recent Lets Rock event.

Who knew OPTION + SPACE would become such a powerful tool? It seems the folks at FireFox did when they created Ubiquity. Ubiquity has only been installed for a week or so on my machine and already I’m coming to depend on it as part of my arsenal of efficient tools, right alongside Quicksilver and TextExpander.

Apple is hosting an event called “Let’s Rock” on Tuesday, September 9th, 2008. Macheads are waiting with their usual bated breath to see what Steve Jobs and the folks at Apple have up their sleep for this event. We all hope it’s more exciting than the WWDC keynote and not just a platform to launch a new iPod line.
