The nightmare—for Adobe at least—that is Flash for the iPhone just took another bizarre turn for the worse as the graphics software giant now seems to be back peddling on statements made last month indicating progress was being made, hand in hand with Apple.

In Apple’s weekly marketing missive hyping some of the better games, applications and utilities available on App Store, there’s a banner headline proclaiming that the iTunes store front now holds more than 15,000 apps, which is around 5,000 less than the fan boys, including this one, said there were there just last week.

One of the really great things about the fairer platform is how many really talented artists, especially ones interested in the hardware for art’s sake, are attracted to the Mac. The flip side of this is, of course, we all pay so much attention to these guys because Apple gives us so little to sink our teeth into between press releases.
