WWDC 2009: Only scalpers have tickets now

For the second year running, Apple’s annual developer conclave has sold out well in advance, in fact nearly two months in advance. Is there a black market for tickets to events like this?
Apple Developer Connection (via Ars) Web site has announced with little fanfare and even fewer details that this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference—just like last year—is now sold out. Less than one month after tickets went on sale, Apple has announced that its Worldwide Developer Conference is full up.

Yup, you read that right, if you don’t already have tickets, the best you can hope for is to catch videos of the event (iTunes) after the fact.
And, just rub salt in that rub, here’s a listing of WWDC Sessions, events we could have taken part in if one of us had, you know, actually gotten off collective and individual duffs and purchased tickets when we had the chance.
WWDC 2007 sold out in mid May, which is weeks from now. Yeah, I though I still had time, too.
Seriously, though, is there a black market for tickets to events like the WWDC? Should hopefuls linger outside the Moscone Center looking for a burnout smokin’ ‘boros and wearing a mint “Back in Black” tour t-shirt?
Inquiring minds want to know…
