Jobs lives!, says iTalian Mac fansite
You know it’s gonna be a slow news day when … the hottest, “that’s all we’ve got?” rumor on the Apple CEO’s well-being and whereabouts inexplicably comes from a Web site on the other side of the planet.
Quoting iTalian Mac fansite Setteb.it, which has a very nice photo of a Benz claimed to belong to El Jobs (left), AppleInsider reports that Steve Jobs was spotted on the Apple campus on Wednesday, where he is said to have met with members of the company’s leadership for a “directional meeting.”
Setteb.it doesn’t actually know if the most elusive creature in the Mac universe, the Macalope aside, actually drove his $130,000 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG or whether he was chauffeured to 1 Infinite Loop and the meeting with Apple brass.
Earlier this week, Steve Wozniak (aka other Steve) purportedly told the Wall Street Journal on the sidelines of the All Things D conference that Jobs sounded “healthy, energetic” on the phone and that the Apple overman “doesn’t sound like he’s sick.”

How do we know that’s Jobs’ Benz? It’s said the cock-eyed parking technique and the fact that the car is parked quite illegally in a handicapped space are both hallmarks of Apple’s dear leader.
And, why is the news of this Jobs’ sighting coming from a Mac fansite all the way over there in Europe? Well, if you were a leaker, feeding somebody (who it must be said is fairly reliable) on the other side of the planet is one way to keep Apple’s pugnacious legal beagles at least temporarily at bay…
