Apple has filed a patent for a device that seems to be an iPod Bluetooth headset, with an order of other capabilities on the side, that has a bit of a SyFy Channel taste about it.

Forget Dell and Google, the only company standing between the Cupertino, California-based Mac, iPod and iPhone maker and the top tech company valuation is Microsoft. Steve Jobs’ fortunes and those of his company have skyrocketed over the last year, whereas the rest of the industry, including Redmond, have declined.

When the Miami, Florida-based hackintosh maker hit the scene back April 2008, the company made quite a splash, becoming the first company to openly advertise and sell Apple’s OS X on generic PC hardware. However, like their first computers, the Rebel EFI might charitably be called a work in progress with little in the way of documentation or help available.
