Photos: Steve as you’ve [mostly] never seen him before
Whether you’re looking for some simple clue to his success or just gotta scratch that (tech) celebrity itch, Steve Jobs is an elusive source. Moreover, in the infrequent glimpses we do get, it’s hard to get a feel for who he really is. Here’re a few candids, some never seen before, providing insight into Apple’s enigmatic CEO.
Fortunehas published a dozen photos of Steve Jobs over the years, from the his beginnings in the ’70s next to Woz through the current third coming of tech’s most prolific genius.

marketing head Phil Schiller and an unidentified person in 2000.
As noted above, there are a dozen photos available in Fortune’s spread, some of which I’ve never seen. From smiling to scowling it’s a unique look into this tech visionary’s long, successful and often opaque career.
Have a look and come back with your impressions…
