‘Twas a week ago today, that Mac Blorge reported told you about the flier claimed to be mothership’s Black Friday circular for brick n’ mortar Apple Stores. Although today’s truly official digital flier doesn’t include much in the way of details, its style is very, very different from the one promising big, big discounts.

There’s nothing particularly interesting about that flier. In fact, it’s dull in a very, very Applesque way—there’s no questioning it provenance ’cause it’s the real thing.
However, this flier, which isn’t directly contradicted by the above now seems all the more fake.
So, what’s the deal here? Has last week’s brick n’ mortar Apple Store flier promising big discounts been outed as a forgery (likely) or is this one of the mothership’s more clever uses of misdirection? Perhaps the giveaway is the “NEW in-store gift wrapping available,” which isn’t new at all.
