How to: Send Christmas cards on your Mac using OS X Mail
We sent out about a dozen treeware Christmas cards weeks ago, but there some folks on our list that don’t get a $2 + $0.44 (postage) physical card. However, that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten them — here’s how to send an attractive holiday card without the hassle, expense or waste of a printed card.
It’s a bit late to be thinking about sending Christmas cards using snail mail, but there’s still plenty o’ time to spam everyone in your Mac’s Address Book with a beautiful, personalized holiday greeting card using OS X Mail. Thereupon, the first thing you’ll need, besides a mailing list, are some appropriate Mail templates and here are three free collections, plus a few for sale packages, as well:
• Christmas Mail Stationery, download
— 10 free card designs featuring secular themes• Christmas Free Stationery Pack, download
— Six secular and religiously themed Mail templates
— Christmas Stationery Pack, 10 templates, €0.99• Christmas Stationery for Mail, download
— Includes a single template with three replaceable image spots that you can customize with your photos• Season’s Greatings Collection, try before you buy
— Includes a dozen plus templates in Equinox’s Stationery 2.5 application, scores of templates available
— Season’s Greetings Volume 2, for example, includes 22 X’mas, Hanukkah and New Year’s templates for $9.95
Beauty by design
All of the above templates, include installers except for Christmas Stationery for Mail, which you only need to double-click to install.

To access your new holiday greeting card stationery, simply open Mail, open a new message and then click “Show Stationery.” Thereafter all you need to do is point, click and start typing.
One word of caution before you decide to use a custom font (i.e. a nice cursive) for typing messages—Windows users and not all Mac users will have the same fonts you do. Thereupon, stick to standards like Helvetica and Ariel, i.e. fonts that will translate well regardless of what computer your holiday card is viewed on.

I apologise, but, in my opinion, this theme is not so actual.
