Yes, Apple is having difficulty getting its arms around 27-inch iMac dead-on-arrival and display issues, but the bigger problem appears to be the simple fact that the company can’t make enough of these highly desirable all-in-one computers as an analyst’s sales estimates point to booming sales.

Returning a favor that Nokia bestowed upon it in October, Apple has filed suit against Nokia for illegally infringing against Apple patents for cell phone manufacturing and usage.

It goes without saying that Steve Wozniak, the hardware genius behind the original Apple computer, will buy anything will an Apple logo on it — dude’s got taste. Still, it’s funny that Woz would add his voice to the growing chorus of people who want a Mac tablet (a.k.a. iPod touch on steroids, iSlate, etc.), too.

Perhaps what turned rumor into done deal so quickly in the Apple purchase of music start-up Lala was the fact that Google was also chasing the newcomer with an eye towards building its online music business.

If you spend any time cruising the Mac ghettos of Craigslist or eBay, you know there are plenty o’ deals and parts still available for these PowerPC workhorses. Nevertheless, Apple ended support for these gentlemen Macs years ago, so their exile by the graphics software comes as little surprise.

Now that Google has finally gotten the lead out on Chrome for OS X, they seem to be moving at flank speed, with extensions due to appear quickly, at least as compared to how long the browser took.
