It was on January 24, 1984 that Steve Jobs introduced — with his usual aplomb and stagecraft — the original 128K Macintosh to a crowd of appreciative reporters, employees and fans, a formula that’s served him well for decades.
So, say “Hello,” again to the original Macintosh — it wasn’t the first personal computer to come to market with a mouse or graphical user interface, but it was the one that succeeded, changing the world. It’s still changing the world, one user at a time…
