Unreleased MacBook Pro 6,1 benchmarks ‘appear’
On Jan. 15 of last month Mac Blorge reported that Intel had spilled the beans on the upcoming release of new MacBook Pros, something chipzilla denied. Now, fresh evidence of an Apple pro portable update has appeared and more than a few folks are hoping for this Tuesday.
Geekbench has published benchmarks for the MacBook 6,1 running and Intel Core i7 M 620 and Mac OS X 10.6.2 labeled 10C3067, an unreleased version of Apple’s operating system opus.
Bye the by, this as yet unseen MacBook Pro and its i7 dual-core 2.66GHz delivered performance 32 percent greater than current i5 models — that’s pretty significant.
Among us soon(er or later)
Thereupon, Electronista is reporting that stocks of current generation MacBook Pros are running low. What a happy coincidence.
So, Tuesday it is? Although I’m always happy for something new to write about, a relatively low-cost and lightly used iMac G5 will be coming my way if there isn’t an update on Tuesday (don’t ask).
Looking forward to the update or is the recession still crimping your style?
What’s your taie?
