Google’s Super Bowl ad parodied with a Mac twist

February 27, 2010

In the eyes of a fanboy, every advertisement begs not so much to be remade but to be made right. Here’s a fine example that starts with Google’s popular Super Bowl XLIV spot and veers straight into a celebration of Mac users’ favorite truisms about Windows and how it must feel to be Windows user.

YouTuber “allenmonroeiii” spent an hour or so righting a wrong. That is, with Google’s now famous Super Bowl XLIV ad spot as his canvass, he retold the story as a Get a Mac advertisement, sans Justin Long and John Hodgman of course.

A get a mac parody version of the google superbowl ad. I spent like one hour, it’s out of sync music, no fancy panning/zooming/etc. Cut me some slack. It’s not even that funny.

Not that funny? You need to give yourself more credit, Allen, a lot more credit…

What’s your take?
