    Adobe Flash Player is not “frankly, highly insecure”.

    The evolutionary pace of exploit attempts is high due to its ubiquity, as are the techblog popularizations of each new attempt, but I have yet to meet anyone who has suffered actual harm when using the current Player.

    (The Pepper API at MozillaWiki is something which any browser vendor can contribute to and support.)
