Mac Pros planning their own IT-focussed conference
Apple isn’t offering, at least not this year, an IT professional track at the Worldwide Developer Conference, but that won’t stop enterprise professionals from pulling together their own event. Though with one week to go before the show, details are essentially nonexistent.
9 to 5 Mac reports that, although Apple isn’t offering an IT professional track at this year’s WWDC, the pros themselves are pulling together for a conference of their own.
“The MacEnterprise steering committee has been talking about doing this for way too long, but the recent lack of significant IT tracks at WWDC has spurred us into action,†said the group.
That’s good news except for the simple fact that there’s so little news to report. As of this writing, no information on what areas will be covered or the venue or times is available.
One assumes they will be getting together on next week’s WWDC, which kicks on June 7 at 10 a.m. with a Steve Jobs keynote address.
When we know more, you will, too…
