Apple extends undo, redo with iTunes 9.2
A little functionality love from Cupertino’s code meisters that extends undo and redo to playlist editing. However, don’t expect to delete a song from your library and then get it back by pressing Command + Z, it’s just not gonna work.
Mac OS X Hints reports that iTunes 9.2 extends the Undo (Command + Z) and Redo (Command + Shift + Z) commands to playlist editing. Unfortunately, this functionality doesn’t extend to the library where deleting a song and then clicking Move to Trash still means it’s gone.
Of course, if you don’t click Move to Trash, a deleted song is still in your library. All you have to do to get it is track down and then drag it back into the library to restore it.
