When was the last time you purchased a piece of mobile electronics where the battery life exceeded the manufacturer’s claims? For me, the last time was April 3 and my iPad is still outperforming Apple’s 10-hour battery life claim. Add the MacBook Air to the list of portables that will meet or exceed your expectations.

Cell phone industry analysts have confirmed that Apple in now one of the top five telephone handset manufacturers, vaulting over the Blackberry into fourth place in world sales figures.

Blink and it will be gone, least one hopes as much. Flash could linger for years as a niche for legacy hardware and operating systems, but the writing is clearly on the wall for Adobe’s middleware as a mainstream video content delivery vehicle.

A strong new rumor says that Apple has developed a new internal SIM card that would replace physical SIM cards in the iPhone, allowing users to select or switch carriers at home and on line.

A week after Apple launched it’s not a netbook, pundits and users are falling over themselves to praise the device. The initial talk about it being underpowered and overpriced has largely melted away as people lay hands on what might be the first real cloud computer.
