Black Friday Apple deal details trickle out
Thinking of buying a new Mac or iPod? Unless your need is absolutely dire, you will probably want to hold because retailers will be pulling out all of the stops in order to get you off the couch and into the mall.
Electronista reports that Apple authorized reseller Best Buy will be giving Black Friday 13-inch MacBook Pro and 21.5-inch iMac buyers a $125 gift card. No, this isn’t money in your pocket, but it could net you a little more holiday cheer this season in the form of more memory, a new multifunction printer or other sweet digital swag.
In a similar vein, Radio Shack is expected to offer 8GB iPod touch buyers a free $20 iTunes gift card. Not a show stopper, but perhaps reason enough not to leave the store empty handed.
If past is prologue (i.e. 2009), Apple itself will offer a $101 on select MacBook Pro and iMac models. The company has also previously offered $10 and up discounts on its complete line of iPods.
