A small fillip to buyers of Apple products and it’s practical effect will be muted at best. Why? Well, the you can only transfer an AppleCare policy from a product purchased in the last 30 days and transfer it to a new eligible product — not exactly generous.

Apple has set the master time switch in the iTunes store three times longer. Now, all of us get song previews that are 90 seconds long instead of just 30, making it easier to tell that we have the right song.
