Verizon iPhone: Unlimited data, no restocking fees and, yes, unicorns
Lots of unicorns. Although there’s no question that Verizon will be holding a special invitation-only media event at the Lincoln Center in New York, pretty much all of the other details Blorge and others have been reporting can at best be characterized as mere rumors. That said, as a person who’s waited three-and-a-half long years for the Verizon iPhone, I really wanna believe them all.
Pensioners demand to know Jobs succession plan
For me at least, the idea of a demanding pensioner conjures up the image of an irate granny with sharp elbows and a handbag of deadly proportions. However, the reality is that the people behind this move are more likely to be sharp toothed lawyers in silk suits.
Rose: iPad 2 to debut in 3, 4 weeks

OS X 10.6.6 delivers Mac App Store
Although the Consumer Electronics Show is running in Lost Wages (a.k.a. Las Vegas) as we speak, the news is dominated by our favorite fruit company, which has launched the Mac App Store. Thereupon, to get in on the fun you’ll need to download Apple’s latest Mac operating system update — come inside for the full monty.
Mac App Store opens with 1,000-plus apps
As promised, the mothership has delivered. It’s all dependent on a Mac OS X 10.6.6, which is available via Software Update. With some A-list launch partners, as well as the company’s own iWork, iLife and Aperture on offer there’s a lot to dig into and mull over as Apple makes an obvious play at hijacking the CES hype.
