Switzerland sweet on chocolate, the Mac
We all know that America’s big metros and their well-educated, well-paid residents are the most Mac friendly in the United States. If you’re abroad or planning a move, what countries should be first on your list of places to set up your Mac housekeeping?
Pingdom has taken a sieve to StatCounter web metrics data and pulled together a list of countries with the highest Mac market share. They then take a small leap of faith in then naming these countries as the “most Mac-friendly countries.”
Thereupon, those champions of chocolate, international banking and market-driven healthcare, a.k.a. the Swiss, top the Mac lovers’ list.

So, if international relocation is on your agenda, then Switzerland, Luxembourg, the United States, Iceland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Denmark and Singapore should be at the top of your destination list.
Then again, being a Mac-loving “diamond in the rough” of Windows-centric Taiwan certainly was good for me. That is, being the one taste of white meat in a sea of beef has its advantages — think different!
What’s your take?
