Apple’s in-car technology — “Eyes Free” — that incorporates Siri is now being advertised in national chevy advertisement for its 2013 Sonic.
The ad features up-beat music that you would expect from an Apple commercial:
“After using the limits of pushing buttons, we’re introducing the button to end all buttons,” the commercial’s narrator reads. Then the driver of the Chevy Sonic, in an all-white room, asks,
“Siri, do I have any text messages?”
Siri responds, with a message from Chad — perhaps the girl’s boyfriend or husband.
“Chevy introduces the world’s first car with hands free and eyes free integration with your iPhone.”
The first commercial aired last thursday on VH1′s Jump Start.
Chevrolet is the first American car maker to incorporate Siri’s Eyes Free technology. It joined Acura and Hyundai. Apple also has partnerships in the works with BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar, Audi, Toyota and Chrysler.
