At times it seems that the MacBook Air has been around a lot longer than it has. It was only this past January that Steve Jobs, CEO for Apple, Inc, unveiled the MacBook Air at the MacWorld Expo 2008. Since that time it’s receive a lot of attention. Retailers had a hard time keeping the MacBook Air in stock and it received it’s fair amount of praise and criticism.

One of the downsides of relying heavily on your email is the email spam that may occasionally flood your inbox. You might find that some of these spam mails are originating from phishers (lucky you!) who are attempting to gain access to your personal information.

Apple has received a lot of attention over the past few years: Awards, new computers like the MacBook Air, the much hyped about iPhone 3G, the new App store, which has hundreds of amazing applications for your iPhone and the iPod touch. We cannot forget about MobileMe and the poor reviews it received at launch, although I’m sure Apple would like to move on past that.

If you’ve been keeping close tabs on Apple the past few months you would have heard the rumors surrounding around about .Mac evidence was pointing to major change in the service. Not only was the url being changed to Me.com it was receiving a brand-new name, MobileMe. The new service had a lot of new features that would add appeal to the average user. Many of the features that users come to depend on in the office was finally making its way into the average users.

According to second quarter sales, Apple is gaining a steady lead in the Western European education market. Currently Apple has 19.2 percent of the market share for CPUs and servers. Apple is still maintaining its lead for notebook sales in the UK. It overtook Dell to climb into the top spot. Similarly here in the USA, Apple beat out Dell to become the number one seller of laptop computers in the USA.

When I logged onto my MacBook Pro this morning I noticed that there was a new update available for iTunes. iTunes has been updated to iTunes 7.7.1.

Besides offering songs, movies, podcasts, and many other features available on iTunes. Apple also has a section focused on education. Logging onto the Apple iTunes store you’ll find iTunes U located under Genre.

MobileMe had its share of problems when it launched along with the iPhone 3G, and the apps store because of that Apple issued an apology and added 30 days of free service to all MobileMe users. Users trying out the 30 day trial version also received an extension. Recently some MobileMe users recently experienced data loss.
