What’s new in Parallel Desktop 3 is support for Vista SP 1 and XP SP3. Numerous fixes have been corrected with this release including unusually high CPU usage, kernal panic issues, along with an improvement to Shared Folders.

Parallels Desktop enables the Mac user to run Windows on a Macintosh, Linux, and other operating systems simultaneously without rebooting. Bootcamp is another software application that allows the Mac user to run Windows but you have to reboot.

The Fretlight Guitars use software and a patented lighting system to show a player where to put their fingers, “teaching” them the song as they play. Now Mac users can get in on the fun with the new software release that allows the Fretlight to talk to Macs

Guitar purists consider these guitars to be cheating, thinking people should learn to play the old fashioned way. Several of the Mac users had reported these issues through the Apple support website and various other Mac related forums.

A class-action lawsuit was filed in 2006 regarding the faulty adaptors. The plaintiffs alleged that Apple had misrepresented problems with the power adaptors. The plaintiffs said that the adapter “dangerously frays, sparks and prematurely fails to work”
